The Pearl River Chamber of Commerce continues as a driving force in service to the hamlet’s business community and the community at large.

Our Mission Statement crystallizes the Chamber’s focus:

To ensure that Pearl River will continue to thrive for decades to come, the Chamber is working toward improving all aspects of the downtown district, including strengthening public participation, supporting new and existing businesses, and encouraging the rehabilitation of buildings and beautification of historic downtown.

We will accomplish this together, and we will strive to ensure that all of Pearl River’s businesspeople and concerned citizens have a voice in the future of the hamlet.

You can play a part in Pearl River’s future. We look forward to seeing you at our next Chamber meeting.

Committee Summaries

The Chamber of Commerce is working hard to serve the business owners and residents of Pearl River. We are making great strides, and with your help we will continue to grow. We have several committees that welcome new volunteers.

Membership Committee -Continues to work on recruitment of new businesses and residents. Joining the committee is a wonderful way to network with members of your business community.

Beautification Committee – The Pearl River Beautification committee was set up to promote the beautification and revitalization efforts of the downtown business district. The many goals of this committee include improvement of sidewalks, planting of trees, supplying street furniture, and providing seasonal flowers and holiday decorations to the downtown area.

Government Affairs Committee – members take turns representing the Chamber at Orangetown Town Board Meetings, and maintain contact with local politicians about matters effecting downtown. Communications Committee – helps to maintain the website, helps with press releases and Chamber mailings.

Events Committee – Includes Pearl River Day, Mom’s Shopping Night, Easter Egg Hunt and the Halloween Trick or Treating Event.
